This hike is ideal for intermediate-level hikers seeking a duration challenge, with a demanding section at the start and an additional test at Camels Hump.
 

What to Bring:

Pack a comfortable day backpack with 2L of water, sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat for sun protection. Wear sturdy trainers with good grip or, ideally, waterproof hiking boots and bring a waterproof jacket for unexpected rain or wind. Also consider using hiking poles to support your knees on descents and maintain balance, and gaiters for extra protection against snakes and rain (though they are optional).
